The College of Islamic Sciences Celebrates the Graduation of a New Cohort of Students
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the College of Islamic Sciences held a grand ceremony to celebrate the graduation of a new cohort of its students. The event took place in an atmosphere filled with joy, pride, and achievement, in the presence of the college faculty, esteemed guests, and the proud families of the graduates.
The ceremony commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the playing of the national anthem and the recitation of Al-Fatiha in remembrance of Iraq’s martyrs. The Dean of the College, Dr. Talal Faeq Al-Kamali, then delivered a heartfelt speech in which he expressed his pride in the students’ accomplishments and emphasized the importance of continuing the pursuit of knowledge and scholarly excellence.
A documentary film showcasing the most memorable moments of the students’ academic journey was presented, evoking emotion and nostalgia. The graduates then stood proudly to recite the college anthem, reflecting a deep sense of belonging and loyalty.
One of the graduates delivered the valedictory speech on behalf of the class, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the faculty members and families for their unwavering support. A special segment titled "Student and Teacher" highlighted the profound academic and human connection between students and their professors.
The ceremony concluded with the honoring of top-performing students and award-winning researchers, accompanied by warm applause and admiration from the audience. As a symbolic finale, the graduates left their "Student Imprint"—a gesture signifying the lasting impact they made during their academic journey.
